I'm inspired by life around me in New Orleans. The exuberant growth of everything. The rich soil and humid air insure that even cement is not safe from plants. Cane fields and water surround the city. There are necklaces hanging from trees even months after Mardi Gras. And there is the light, rich and strong. Nature revels in it, rises like a phoenix even as we humans rage against it. She and Light will rise.
